Build Manager

GBC are currently recruiting for a Telecoms Build Manager to join one of our established project teams .The successful Build Manager will be responsible for the management of part of the construction and requirements that may be included on a specific project.

Job Description

  • Managing the site to a good level of quality, based from the office - for this reason communication skills via phone/video are essential
  • Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety and Quality
  • H&S Management, including the implementation of CDM
  • Eventually, evaluation of engineer performance
  • Maintenance of real time progress and daily/weekly client reporting for all works on both internal and external databases
  • Dealing with on-site issues via phone conversations as and when they are raised
  • Deal with any escalations brought to attention effectively
  • Working with the delivery team closely to ensure on-time completion of telecoms in reference to KPI's and SLA's.
  • Ensure accurate reports are provided to the relevant stakeholders for the job.
  • Liaising with other members of the delivery team, and other areas of the company if there are queries regarding final accounts etc.

Essential Skills

Required experience

  • Working knowledge of Construction Design Management regulations - Essential
  • Experience of installation and commissioning with a variety of Clients/vendors - Preferred
